	The Alchemist: A Fable About Following Your Dream by Paulo Coelho This was our September book. Most of us enjoyed it to a certain extent, but we also felt that we weren't so single-minded as to have just one "Personal Legend". Interesting. Not life-changing.

	A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini This was our Aug 2007 pick. (And my first discussion to lead as OVM Book Club president). SO GOOD!!! READ IT!!

	Crow Lake (Today Show Book Club #7) by Mary Lawson April 2007 General consensus: everyone really enjoyed this book. Thanks Helen! We had a great discussion and welcomed new member, Shannon McGehee. I was named President for the 2007-2008 year. Yay!

	Praying for Sheetrock: A Work of Nonfiction by Melissa Fay Greene May 2007 This book came recommended by Jane. Sounds really interesting and relevant. It is set in McIntosh Co, GA.
